We are halfway to a finale. Last night, 11 acts gave it all they had. But for six of them, it's a case of "so close, but so far away". Who's going to the finale, and who's going home?

First up... a special performance by K-Pop superstars BTS. Then the business...

As always, we reveal the acts that came in 4th, 5th, and 6th in no particular order. They will compete for the Dunkin Save.

DUNKIN SAVE
- Daniel Emmet
- Glennis Grace
- We Three

First up...  Vicki Barbolak, Da RepubliK, and Aaron Crow.
- ADVANCES: Vicki Barbolak

After Heidi tries to be a celebrity lookalike (why?) and show a brief clip of the upcoming Universal release "The Grinch"... it's time for Courtney Hadwin, Christina Wells, and Noah Guthrie...
- ADVANCES: Courtney Hadwin

Two more down... Angel City Chorale and Brian King Joseph...
- ADVANCES: Brian King Joseph

Put down your Munchkins and your Maple Bars. The voting for the Dunkin Save is over.
- DUNKIN' SAVED: Glennis Grace

That leaves We Three and Daniel Emmet's fates in the hands of the judges. As a  reminder - if the judges are deadlocked, the decision will be based on the final vote of America... whether the judges agree wtih it or not.
- Simon: Daniel Emmet
- Heidi: Daniel Emmet
- Mel: We Three
- Howie: Daniel Emmet

Next week: Shin Lim, Michael Ketterer, Zurcaroh, Duo Transcend, Samuel J. Comroe, Vicki Barbolak, Courtney Hadwin, Brian King Joseph, Glennis Grace, and Daniel Emmet compete for $1 million and a headlining show in Las Vegas!

THE STORY SO FAR! Kaycee wins HOH and puts up the two remaining outcasts of the game - Haleigh and Sam, while two alums find love - Nicole & Victor. Two more houseguests also find love - Tyler & Angela. And JC and Brett continue being... JC and Brett, a puppet master and his puppet du jour.

Sam didn't take the eviction well, promising to "rip these bitches to shreds".

Kaycee reveals that Haleigh is indeed her target.

"HOUSEGUESTS, PLEASE GO TO THE LIVING ROOM." Big Brother gives the houseguests a little piece of home in the form of videos of loved ones.

Time for the pick. HOH Kaycee and nominees Haleigh and Sam pick Tyler, Angela, and Brett respectively. That leaves JC to pretty much throw everything into disarray, hoping beyond hope to break up the power couple of Angela and Tyler, who want JC to go on the block if things don't pan out.

VETO COMPETITION #11: BB Comics. There are five evil imposters - heroes that don't match their comic panels' colors - that must be found and eliminated. Fastest time wins.
- WINNER: Kaycee, her third Veto win in a row.

And Haleigh, accurately, believes that she may have just lost the game.

VETO MEETING #11: Kaycee elects NOT to use the Power of Veto, so tomorrow night, either Haleigh or Sam will be evicted.

... or perhaps BOTH?!

It's the 36th Season Premiere week and Day 3 of "Teacher's Week!" Will there be more than just the $36,000 bonus round minimum increase? Let's find out!

The $1,000 Tossup is PHRASE. Seth misses and Tina Johnson says to BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR. She is from West Point, Nebraska and is a 1st grade teacher. She is married for 5 years and have 3 kids and 1 more on the way! Auja Jones from Alexandria, VA is a HS English Teacher. She is a softball teacher and coach along with writing poetry. Seth is Seth Golder from Milford, MA, a 5th grade reading and writing teacher. He is married with 2 kids.

The $2,000 Tossup is PLACE. Seth has $2,000 with ROOFTOP GARDEN. He will start the first round but we add a WorldStrides trip to Alasaka worth $8,300. It's THINGS. He loses $1,200 on Bankrupt. Tina picks up the Alaska trip with 2 $500 S's. She misses a vowel - I. Auja loses $550 on Bankrupt. Seth loses $3,150 on Bankrupt. Tina hits 2 $2,500 P's but misses a vowel(U). Auja solves STAPLER AND STAPLE REMOVER for the house minimum of $1,000(which was bumped up from $600).

The Consumer Cellular Mystery Round is started by Tina. It's our crossword round. We have four words on the board which fit the clue of WORLD CAPITALS. She misses a vowel(E).  Auja loses $500 on Bankrupt. Seth does the same. Tina loses $350 on Bankrupt. Auja hits Lose a Turn. Seth hits a $1,000 Mrs.Printables Gift Tag with a $500 L.  He picks up the 1/2 Car for a Ford Fiesta with 2 $500 N's but misses. Tina misses on the MDW. Auja hits a Free Play A. Auja has a decision to make - she risks the $1,000 mystery wedge and loses $1,700 in total on Bankrupt. Seth solves TOKYO OSLO LONDON CAIRO for a total of $4,500 in cash and Mrs. Printables GC. He has $6,500 in cash and prizes! We move on to...

The Prize Puzzle/Express Wedge Round is started by Auja. It's EVENTS. Auja loses $2,400 on Bankrupt. Seth misses. Tina hits a Free Play E and 2 $500 WC R's. She misses a vowel - A. Auja hits a 1/2 Car $500 N, a $3,500 L and solves GLORIOUS SUNRISES for $4,000 in cash, the 1/2 Car which will stay a 1/2 of a Fiesta, but she is going to a place where she can see some GLORIOUS SUNRISES -- Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Montego Bay, Jamaica worth $8,108! She has $13,108 in cash and prizes!

The $3,000 Tossup is MOVIE TITLE. Seth has $9,500 with ANT-MAN AND THE WASP. He starts WHAT ARE YOU DOING? and leads us into a $1,550 a letter FINAL SPIN. He dominates and solves GIVING A PEP TALK for $2,750. Seth comes up a little short but leaves with $12,250 in cash! Tina leaves with $1,000. But Auja had no luck on the wheel. That didn't stop her from winning a trip to Jamaica and cash totalling $13,108 or from going to the bonus round!

The pre-bonus round total is $26,358! Auja chooses THING over PEOPLE and PLACE.

Auja lands on the & wedge. With the RSTLNE and her choices of M D B A we have:

B _ L _ _
_ A _ _ A _ _

Auja comes back and solves this puzzle which we didn't think could be solved. BULKY PACKAGE gives Auja the new minimum of $36,000 in cash! She leaves with $49,108 in cash and prizes

Susannah Brooks (Madison, WI) begins the day with $30,000 and 1 lifeline left.  She is able to secure $50,000, and then...

[$100,000]
In 2017, soprano Audrey Luna was surprised to learn she'd hit the highest note ever sung in the NY Metropolitan Opera's 137-year-history -- what note above High C?
A: A
B: B
C: C
D: D

Susannah, being somewhat of a music aficionado, went with A... and gets the $100,000! That leads her to this...

[$250,000]
Meant to make computers seem relatable, the style of design that mimics real-world objects, such as the "folder" sitting on your "desktop", is known as what?
A: Isomorphism
B: Skeuomorphism
C: Catamorphism
D: Epimorphism

Susannah has been teaching her daughter how to pronounce some big words.  She asks the audience, and 34% say C, with 32% saying A and 25% saying B.  With those results, she decides not to go for it, opting to walk.  The answer is B, and she leaves with $100,000!

Keri Buck (Pensacola, FL) has a tough act to follow, but she starts well enough, easily securing $5,000.  She then polls the audience at $7,000 and brings in her husband, Adam, at $10,000.  That is it for today; Keri will continue her run tomorrow!

In the nightcap, Andrew Thomas (Saint Paul, MN), starting it with $20,000 and 2 lifelines, makes it to $50,000 without much of a problem.  That leads to this...

[$100,000]
In the book "Burton on Burton," Tim Burton reveals that Warner Brothers actually considered releasing "Beetlejuice" under what title?
A: Ghostbastards
B: Son of a Witch
C: Scared Sheetless
D: Polterguys

Andrew has an instinct on this one, but he wants to hear from his Plus One, Tara, first.  She isn't sure about A or D.  Andrew is thinking C, and Tara could see it being that.  They eliminate B since they don't recall any witches in the movie.  Andrew says C... and he's right!

[$250,000]
After Neil Armstrong became the first to set foot on the moon in 1969, how much time did he spend on its surface before going back inside the lunar module?
A: About 5 minutes
B: About 30 minutes
C: About 2 hours
D: About 5 hours

The 50:50 leaves B and C.  Andrew recalls that they weren't out there for too long, so he goes with B... but it's C!  At least he still has $50,000!

Megan Turner (Kansas City, MO) turns to the audience at $7,000, and that is where this one ends.  Megan will return tomorrow.
