Warren Sapp
Super Bowl champion |
Taylor Hicks

SHORT SHORTSHOT: Taylor's the first
to decide between Sonya and Hope... but Hope doesn't spring
eternal on this stage; the former "American Idol" picks Sonya.
Jessica & Laura are left on Mike's team. He chooses to have a
situation with Laura. Warren picks between Erika & Shakyra. Warren
likes Chicago deep dish, so he picks "Shakyra, Shakyra." His picks
don't lie. Finally, it's date this, not that for Rocco, who
chooses between Christina & Lexi. He likes pizza too... but picks

tonight?
FOUR DAY CHAMPION
David Menchaca
orig. Long Beach, CA
law student
$115,503 |
Lukas Sherman
Portland, OR
substitute teacher |
Margaret Swanson
Somerville, MA
graduate student of architecture |
David tips it off with $200 TV &
Movie Cars. At the TV timeout, the champion storms out into the
lead with $5200 to Margaret's $1400. Lukas has an even grand.
Lukas finds the Daily Double under
$800 "ME". He bets it all on this: it differs from other slithery
sea dwellers in that it usually lacks pectoral fins. "What is a
moray eel?" FOR THE DOUBLER, $3200! He ends the round with $4600
to David's $7000. Margaret has $3600 and the first clue in Double
Jeopardy!...
... with $400 In the Dictionary.
David finds the first Daily Double under $1600 Bad Endings for
Writers. He fronts $2000 on this: this courtier & author of a
"History of the World" was executed at the Tower of London in
1618. "Who is Sir Thomas More?" No, it was Sir Walter Raleigh,
dropping him to $7800. Lukas finds the other under $1600 On Your
Marks. He bets $6000 for the lead on this: in 2005 this former FBI
deputy director revealed he was "Deep Throat". "Who is Mark Felt?"
Correct for $19,400! He ends the round with $21,400 to David's
$17,400. Margaret can play spoiler with $6000.
Final Jeopardy! in "UNESCO
World Heritage Sites":
listed in 1983, this complex finished c. 1650 features inlaid
semiprecious stones & Arabic calligraphy.
Correct response: what is the Taj Mahal?
Everyone misses it... but Margaret
plays it safe to win $3999! David leaves, but not for long, with
$116,503. |
