They save lives. They put out fires.
They sell out even though they have the $500,000 Case....well,
that happened yesterday. Hopefully it won't happen today. Daniel
Matero is the person that we hope it won't happen to, and he's a
30 year veteran who provides ground support for the helicopters.
He will keep his case and we will get going with #2 (Paul) - $100.
#9 (Kate) - $100,000. #5 (Linsay) - $75,000. #13 (Dewayne) - $50.
#15 (Eric) - $400. Four of the Top 6 are still in play, but the 2
that are gone are big ones. The Banker's offer: $15,000. NO DEAL!
We fly off to open 5 more cases. #10 (Rico) - $300. #12 (Jason S.)
- $1. #3 (Heather) - $250,000. Ouch. #11 (Marc) - $500,000. And
the excitement in this game evaporated in a hurry. #14 (Ted) -
$5,000. I expect the Banker's offer to plummet: $3,000. NO DEAL! 4
more cases to open.
We continue with #18 (Cori) - PENNY! #20 (Robert) - $7,500. #21
(David) - $200. #7 (Cedrick) - $500. Good round, and he has a
clump on top:
$5, $10, $25, $1,000, $2,500, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000
OFFER: $9,000
He has 3 cases that are higher and can only get rid of 2 of them.
he gets the phone-a-friend option and calls the wife, who says to
keep playing and have fun. So he will. NO DEAL!
#19 (Dave) - $10,000. Some of that safety net is disappearing.
#17 (Jason N.) - $25
$5, $10, $1,000, $2,500, $25,000, $50,000
OFFER: $13,000
Now we have some danger on the board. two cases are higher, but
getting rid of both of them are disastrous. His fellow fire
fighters are mixed. The Book of Chico and Gordon says to play it.
Daniel...will not play with that book. DEAL for $13,000! It's a
nice number, but could he have had more? Next 2 cases...#22 (Rob)
- $5. #16 (Dan) - $25,000. OFFER: $15,000. Next Case: #6 (Rick) -
$50,000. So it's a good deal, since Daniel had $10 in his case.
Dan played it safe, and he who plays it safe doesn't get burned at
the end.
NIGHT CAP! Flight attendant Allan
Weissberg gets to soar into today's game. He's ready to party for
his milestone birthday...whatever it is. It won't be
$500,000...WHICH HE HAD AND GAVE AWAY! He settles for $9,500 when
all he has left in big cases is $75,000... which he doesn't have.
He has $300. So It's actually a max deal for him, who can throw a
nice party. New players tomorrow. |

Round 2 (6): on your last day of
work, something in your office you might get in trouble for taking

appears. Not there. 84 to the Sloans. Other answers:
secretary/people, Rolodex/sales leads.
Round 3 (6): something you've lost
weight for... Ivy? "A track meet." Rest of the question... and as

might change if they were hiding from the law. Ivy Sr. punches in
with their name. Hair, clothes, and address follow. What about
place of employment? The Teagues hope so... Nope. 181 to the
Sloans. Other answer: sex change.
Double (full board): something a
plumber's kid might bring to school for show-and-tell. Wrench is
#2 for Kyle. Bob gets #3, snake. Keith gets #5, a pipe. John gets
the big one, a plunger. A faucet is at 6. The Sloans try to take
it with pipe tape... Not there. Teagues go to 298. Other answer:
hair clog.
Triple (4): a good food to warm you
up on a cold night. Bob gets #2, hot chocolate. Keith gets the big
one, soup. The Sloans try to take it with warm milk... NO! THE
TEAGUES WIN $60,000, 514-181. Other answers: chili, oatmeal.

Jeopardy!

Host: Alex Trebek
On the Web:
www.jeopardy.com |
|
Streamlined contestant podia...
A game board of 36 industry-grade
HDTVs...
Cool blues all over the place...
It's VEGAS baby! And before we let
the champs have the new-look set, we give it over to a trio of
familiar faces for a test run.
Aisha drew #1, so she gets to go
first. She goes with $200 Balls of Fury. At the TV time out,
Elizabeth has $3400 to Aisha's $2200. Tom is on the board with
$600.
The Daily Double in the Jeopardy!
round goes unclaimed, as Elizabeth, pardon the pun here, smokes
the competition with $7000 to Aisha's $2600. Tom has $1800 and
first pick in Double Jeopardy!...
... with $400 Dancing with the
Stars, with Aisha finding the Daily Double under $2000. She wagers
$2400 on this: Alnilam, Mintaka & Altinak are the 3 stars in his
belt. "What is Orion?" Correct for $8600 and the lead! Aisha finds
the other under $800 Other Famous Tylers. She wagers $4000 on
this: this daughter of Aerosmith's lead singer played Arwen in
"The Lord of the Rings". "Who is Liv Tyler?" Correct for $14,600.
At the end of the round, Aisha leads with $19,400 to Elizabeth's
$14,200. It's still very much possible that Tom could win, as he
has $7400.
The winner today will receive
$50,000 for his or her charities, while the two runners-up will
each lay claim to $25,000.
Another new feature of this set is
that Final Jeopardy! category is now in its own separate alcove of
the stage. The category tonight: "What Happens in Vegas". The
clue: much of this 2001 movie remake was filmed at the Bellagio
Hotel in Las Vegas. Correct response: what was "Ocean's Eleven"?
Tom bets everything to double up.
Elizabeth... also correct. Aisha... is right to win with $28,401
to take $50,000 for her two charities. Tom & Elizabeth leave with
$25,000 each.
Tomorrow, it's primetime for 15
former Jeopardy! champions as they come together to see who'll
rake a cool quarter-mill in Vegas! |

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

Host: Meredith Vieira

Anthony Dickey (Washington, D.C.)
begins this 2nd day of Million Dollar Movie Week with $200.
He goes on to complete the lower tier, and he breezes through most
of the middle tier as well, eventually facing this...
[$25,000] (Gone With the Wind)
In the 1939 film "Gone With the Wind," a "slap happy" Scarlett
O'Hara wallops all but which of these characters?
A: Ashley
B: Prissy
C: Melanie
D: Rhett
Anthony asks the audience, but the results are kind of close. 36%
are saying C, 26% are saying B, 20% are saying D, and 18% are
saying A. Despite that, Anthony trusts the 36%, locking in C with
6 seconds left on the clock... and he has $25,000!
[$50,000] (Dances With Wolves)
The film title "Dances With Wolves" derives from the Sioux name of
its main character, who "dances" with a wolf named what?
A: Gray Ghost
B: Crooked Tail
C: Howling Son
D: Two Socks
Anthony goes with D... and he's right!
[$100,000] (Thelma & Louise)
What would be the title of the 1991 movie "Thelma & Louise" if the
characters' last names replaced their first names?
A: Dickinson & Sawyer
B: Anderson & McBride
C: Slocumb & Lennox
D: Harlan & Biddle
Anthony asks the Experts, Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz. Ben M. has
a strong feeling about Harlan, while Ben L. feels confident that
it's not A. But that's about it. Anthony decides to go with D...
but it's A! Ouch! Unfortunately, that means Anthony leaves with
$25,000!
Carlos Giron (Atlanta, GA) - Golf caddie

Classics
Middle - Netflix Clip, Big-Screen Ink, Pretty Woman, Arthur, Jack
