While you were FINALLY breaking your skid of Oscar losses, Leonardo DiCaprio, we were getting three Comedy Central all-stars of late night together to play in a once-every-four-years all-star Late Night Showdown! Tonight's #HashtagWars: #PoliticalSuperheroes. Ron leads with 1100 to Mike's 900. Jordan is on 700.

DanRulesCancerDrools.com if you want to help with a member of the @midnight family.

Round 2: Is This News? (explain why something is newsworthy). Tonight's Live Challenge: Double D-List Celebs. Mr. Skin rolled out the carpet for his Anatomy Awards. Let's hear your acceptance speech. Ron gets 1000 for "I'd like to thank the Academy, but I must say I am appalled that after 18 years there were still no white actors nominated for 'Biggest (member)'."

We're rounding third with Who Would Win? Not Mike.

FTW: Super Tuesday tomorrow. Crucial matchup: Col. Sanders vs. Bernie Sanders. Tell us who would win and why. The winner: "Don King, Lipitor, and everyone watching on PornHub." Of course Ron wins the Internet!

Today's funny becomes tomorrow's source material. Follow the game online @midnight.

Last week we were cutting big fat checks. Will they continue with champ David?

CHAMPION
David Bradley
Atlanta
author
$27,000
Tyler Shattuck
Long Beach, CA
graduate student
Brigid Hannahoe
Buffalo
pathologist

David starts with $400 Animated TV. Brigid finds the Daily Double under $1000. She fronts the level on this: it served as the entrance gateway to the 1889 World's Fair. "What is the Eiffel Tower?" RIGHT for $3000! She ends up in the lead with $8600 to $3400 for David. Tyler with $1400 will get the board to start Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Old-Time Science. David finds the first Daily Double under $1600 Urban Literature. He goes for $4000 on this: he sought his fortune in Yukon gold prospecting, but made it big as the USA's highest-paid writer. "Who is Jack London?" For $10,600! He also plays the other under $1600 Nebraskans. He bets $2000 on this: Standing Bear of the Ponca Tribe won an 1879 court victory when a judge said that "an Indian is" indeed this 6-letter word. "What is a person?" RIGHT for $17,800! He ends up with $25,000 to $13,800 for Brigid. Tyler still alive with $6200.

FINAL JEOPARDY! in "World Leaders": in 2006 a former llama herder became president of this country. Correct response: what is Bolivia?

The man was Evo Morales. David is right to win $28,000, giving him $55,000 for two!

New week on Deal starts off with two people and they are Doctor Filiberto and Angelica the Lady in Pink. They are playing for a Kia Rio LX worth $17,520. All Filiberto and Angelica have to do is spell out KIA RIO to win the car. We have 8 numbers and 6 have the letters to KIA RIO. Two have zonks. The last person to spell KIA RIO without hitting a zonk wins the car. Angelica goes first after picking the $100 envelope to
Filiberto's $50. She picks 7 and she is OUT. Filiberto picks 4 and its I. He passes on $500 to go on with 1 and it's the other I. He passes on $800 to pick 8 and it's K. We have KI _ _ I _. He passes on $1,000 to pick 3 and it is the O. He has K I _ _ I O. Filiberto takes $2,000 to stop! For fun, he picks 5 and he would have gotten ZONKED.

Maria the Mexican Dancer and David the number 1. They each get $500. Maria can take Curtain 3 or keep the $500(and David gets the leftovers). David gets Curtain 3 and wins his/her ski gear worth $2,398. David takes Curtain 1 and gives Maria the $500 and the ski package. He wins a deluxe kitchen package with refrigerator/kitchen island with sushi making kit/rice cooker/sushi dinner for 6 worth $4,316! Who keeps and who trades for Curtain 2? Both keep and don't trade for A GREEN GRASS CAR(ZONK)!

Marygrace(dressed in American Flag colors) has the Red/Green/Blue Boxes. We start with $500 in cash under the Red Box. Will she try for the Green Box and 2 prizes? If it is a zonk, she is OUT. Marygrace STOPS and passes on a pair his/her Shinola Watches worth $1,150 and the Blue Box had a Macbook/Ipad Air 2 with Internet for a year worth $2,598! Will she keep the cash or take the LMAD Envelope? She keeps the cash and passes on....well, we have a Wayne Brady lookalike named Dorian tell MaryGrace that she would have gone to Canada at the Wickanninnish Inn worth $8,885!

Allison the Cassette Tape gets a clue the LMAD Times about the Big Box. It is: BIG BOX PRIZE HAS TRADER COMING & GOING. Will Allison take the Big Box prize or take $800...$1,000...$1,200...she takes the $1,200 and passes on a Vespa Sprint Scooter worth $3,699! Cowboy Gerald has Curtain 2 and Jonathan has the small box and we have a song battle. After it, Gerald takes Curtain 2. The small box had BEETZ BY DR.GRAY HEADPHONES(ZONK). Gerald wins a game room with arcade machines with 100 classic games from the Pinball Company and 50" 4K HDTV worth $3,694!

Maria(as Pocahontas) is playing for a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC at Oceana Resorts worth $4,453. She is playing TIMELINE. We have three shows: IN LIVING COLOR, HANGIN' WITH MR. COOPER, TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL. She must put them in chronological order from earliest premiere date to most recent to win the trip. She says COLOR/ANGEL/COOPER. She passes on $500 and loses because they set up the shows in the correct order - COLOR(1990), COOPER(1992) ANGEL(1994).

Last deal involves Jalonn the Pepper from Salt and Pepper. The mini curtain has a trip to a theme park. But is it good or bad? Will he take the mini-curtain or $700? He takes $700 and passes on a TRIP TO ZONKYLAND(ZONK)!

Who trades for a shot at $21,856? It's David with his kitchen package! He picks 1. 3 was new patio furniture worth $3,169! 1 was the LMAD Vault worth $6,222 in cash! David wins that cash! 2 was the Big Deal which was TWO TRIPS! We start with a trip to Hawaii at the Travaasa Hana in Maui for 4N AND a trip to Bali at the Lexington Hotel for 7N with luggage worth $21,856!

An episode 4 years in the making... It's the Leap Year Special! We leap into a brand new week with Gregory Schenewerk, Heidi Lebreton, Joe Stephens III & Janice Totleben playing for a Roku HDTV with console. The $2449 package goes to Heidi. She can take a leap into a 2016 Nissan Juke if she wins Money Game.

20  44  16
80  59  93
22  75  21

Middle number: 9. 22... front! 75.. money. 59... money. 80... money. Last pick is 16... and she says NO to El Cheapo!

Gregory wins a $2670 set of men's watches & a storage box. He can also win a $3129 grill, a $2445 set of Tory Burch accessories, and a $2198 iMac in One Wrong Price. He thinks the grill is false. The grill is... $3129.

Joe gets a $650 htc smartphone and a $500 bonus! He's not done rolling in it yet. It's PLINKO TIME! With chips from Drew, a $45 auto jumper, a $50 humidifier, and a $31 business calculator, he wins $10,200, climbs down the stairs, then climbs back up to play his final chip! That was worth ... well, it was worth nothing, but he does get $10,200 in addition to the $500 from earlier. He also gets a spot at the Showcase via the Showdown win.

Meanwhile, Lora Fuqua wins a $1313 kegerator, mini-cooler, ice machine & ice crusher. Now she gets to try and keep cool in Aruba (6n @ Aruba Marriott Resort & Solaris Casino) with a successful run in Balance Game. The bags: $255, $2000, $4000, and $5000. She goes with $7255. The trip is... $7255!

Alpha Joy Ferrer (C-Note: yes, that's her name) can parlay a $1038 DSLR camera to a 2016 Chrysler 200LX if she knows when That's Too Much! And because it's Leap Day, all of the prices shown will end, appropriately enough, in 229. She thinks $22,229 is too much, and she should've looked a little further before leaping. It was $24,075, so $24,229 was too much.

Last shot at greatness Janice comes wtih a pop-a-shot arcade basketball. The price: $1219. The winner... Robert Lopez. Now he'll try and scoop up $20,000 from Time Is Money. We have a bottle of Nutella, CreaVe baby wash, Gardetto's snack mix, Carnation evaporated milk, and Purina Busy dog treats. He goes snacks low... and that's pretty much it since he exhausted his 10 seconds. START THE CLOCK! He never gets even remotely close to right. Correct:

LOW: milk
MID: snack, dog treats
HIGH: spread, shampoo

Robert more than makes up for it with $1000 on the Big Wheel.

Today in the Showcases, special Leap Day packages! First up, a trampoline, a trip to Big Sky, Montana (6n @ Huntley Lodge at Big Sky), and a 2016 Scion iA. Top winner Joe bids $30,000. Robert gets extras for the extra day: a pair of Honda Rebels, a first-class trip to Las Vegas (6n @ Palms), and a trip to China (6n @ Rendezvous Merry Hotel Shanghai) with $1500. He bids $33,500. Actual price: $24,281. Actual price of Joe's Showcase... $25,434. And a bit appropriate for the day but nevertheless heartbreaking, both players end up leaping over the actual price of their Showcase.

  Matt Wellenbach (Somerville, MA)
He needs some money for his and his new wife's honeymoon. Also, his friend, Elliston (in the audience), was on the show not long ago. (I assume he's the one who won $21,750 on the 4/22/15 episode, which was under the shuffle format.) (+1): His dad, Andy

Matt secures $5,000, then asks the audience at $10,000. After that is this...

[$20,000]
Released in 1958, the first Christmas song to top the Billboard Hot 100 was credited to what fictional characters?
A: The Peanuts Gang
B: The Chipmunks
C: The Looney Tunes
D: Mickey & Minnie Mouse

Matt eliminates C and D. He thinks that it could be A... but it's B! As a result, he leaves with $5,000.

Maurice Coleman (Baltimore, MD)
He's a grandfather who wants to spoil his family.

He sweeps the first 5, then gets to $7,000 before the horn goes off; Maurice will be back tomorrow!
