You can win one of 5 Collette Vacations in the "Show You The World" sweepstakes! More on that later! It's Day 3!

The $1,000 Tossup is SONG TITLE. Kate Neimister from Newport Beach, CA solves TICKET TO RIDE for $1,000. She is an "accidental twin". Her 93 yr old "pop-pop" is watching. Jeff Davis from Phillips Ranch, CA has 10 children between he and his wife(blended family). He is a jazz fan and an online academic advisor. Mackenzie Brewster from Huntington Beach, CA is an engaged 6th grade teacher.

The $2,000 Tossup is THING. Kate has $3,000 with FIVE-DAY FORECAST. We add this to the wheel - a Collette Vacation tour of England, Scotland and Wales worth $9,098! Kate starts SAME LETTER and hits Lose a Turn. Jeff hits a $2,500 S and 5 $650 Same Letter P's(along with the $1,000 Same Letter Bonus). Jeff solves PIZZA PASTA & PEPPERONI for $6,500. We move on to...

The Eggland's Best Mystery Round which is started by Jeff as well! It's PLACES. He hits a Free Play I, the Collette Tour with 2 $500 M's, the WC with 3 $500 L's, the $1,000 Ricardo Beverly Hills Luggage Set with a $500 C,  dominates and solves MEDIEVAL CASTLES & STATELY MANORS for a total of $19,898 in cash, luggage and trip! He has $26,398 in cash and prizes along with the WC! We move on to...

The Prize Puzzle/Express Wedge Round which is started by Mackenzie who hasn't spun the wheel yet tonight! It's PHRASE. She picks up the MDW with a N, a $3,500 Y,  dominates and solves IT BRINGS A SMILE TO MY FACE for $6,500, the MDW and a Collette Tour of Costa Rica worth $8,698! Mackenzie gets on the board in a big way with $15,198 in cash and prizes along with the MDW!

The Triple Tossup category is LIVING THING. Jeff has $2,000 with HUMMINGBIRD. Kate has $2,000 with ROADRUNNER and starts the next round with her $2,000 solve of WOODPECKER. Kate has $7,000 in tossup cash. Mackenzie has $15,198 in cash and prizes along with the MDW! That includes her tour of Costa Rica. Jeff has the lead with $28,398 in cash and prizes including luggage and the Collette Tour of the United Kingdom! He also has the WC! Kate starts PERSON and we go right into a $1,650 a letter FINAL SPIN. Kate solves AMATEUR INVENTOR for $4,950 and  just like last night leaves with $11,950 in cash without solving a maingame puzzle! Mackenzie couldn't take the MDW to the bonus round or to Costa Rica but she is leaving with $15,198 in cash and prizes! Jeff wins with $28,398 in cash and prizes! He is taking the WC to the bonus round!

The Pre-Bonus Round total is $55,546! Jeff picks PHRASE over THING and LIVING THINGS.

Jeff lands on the & wedge. With the RSTLNE and his choices of C M P A and his WC choice of D we have:

_ / A M
_ _ E R _ _ _ E D

Jeff would have been right to say I AM OVERJOYED if he solved this puzzle. He didn't and became the 2nd person this season TO LOSE $100,000! Don't feel too bad, as he is leaving with $28,398 in cash and prizes!

Now, take I AM OVERJOYED  to http://www.wheeloffortune.com and you can try to win a Collette Vacation!

Hannah finds the Daily Double under $400 Everybody Wants to Rule the World. She bets $500 on this:
- For adding areas such as Valencia to his realm, 13th c. King James I of Aragon was known as "Jaime el" this Spanish word.
"What is... Grande?" No, it was "Conquistador", dropping her to $2700. She recovers to $4100 to $6800 for Brian. Sarah on $2400 will have the board to start...

DOUBLE JEOPARDY!: Fictional Characters, Science Glossary, Men of Myth, Poly Esther, Word Origins, Actors' Filmographies.

- She used her experiences as a Smith college student for the character of Esther Greenwood in "The Bell Jar".
"Who is Plath?" Sylvia Plath is right for $5000! She ends with that much to Hannah at $10,500. Brian is o $16,400.

Last week, Moth was unmasked as Elizabeth Smart, leaving Sloth, Zebra, and Cotton Candy to move to the Super Six. Meanwhile, the Cricket, the Exotic Bird, the Hammerhead, and the Tulip are dancing for a slot in the Super Six as well.

Joining the panel tonight is the host of Fox's "Mental Samurai", Rob Lowe.

First up, the EXOTIC BIRD. Every single say she's on stage is a good day, but right before her biggest opportunity, she came down with a savage bird flu. Her Mama Bird was the only one who could help her. We also see a football and some apple pie. She will match the rollercoaster of her life with a dance to "Latch" by Disclosure featuring Sam Smith.
- WORD UP CLUE: "Number one".

Next, the CRICKET, who is bringing us back where he got his start - the 90s. We see a banner that says 1998, some medals, and a second-place podium. He says that he thought he had something special inside him, but you aren't allowed to be different in the community I grew up in. Also mentioned... "Back at One". He dances to "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan, a 90s jam if ever I heard one.
- WORD UP CLUE: "All-Star".

Then comes HAMMERHEAD. We already know the fun side of him, but years ago, he had one shot on stage with a microphone. He gave up his dream of being a lawyer and was really depressed. We see a wedding cake, a #1 jersey, and an eye chart with an apple and carrot and a jumbled phrase of "This is a huge clue".  He's dancing to "Blinding Lights" by the Weeknd.
- WORD UP CLUE: "Heartbreaker".

Finally, we see TULIP trying to keep mum to everyone around her. WE see pyramids and a story about being super competitive with her best friend. Also, we hear another Frozen reference. She dances to "Fields of Gold" by Eva Cassidy.
- WORD UP CLUE: "Princess".

UNMASKING #4: After the votes come down, it's show's over for... the CRICKET. Last guesses from the panel.
- Ashley: Ashton Kutcher
- Ken: Michael Phelps
- Brian: Ryan Lochte
- Paula: Brian McKnight
- Rob: Ryan Lochte

At least one of these guesses is correct.

THE CRICKET IS... R&B superstar & Grammy nominee BRIAN MCKNIGHT!

That leaves Exotic Bird, Hammerhead, and Tulip to advance to the Super Six. Competition begins NEXT TIME!

PRIMARY ROUND: SPIN ME ROUND - A wheel of nine genres is spin and the band plays a song from the genre it lands on.  First to buzz-in with a right answer gets money. (Not exactly "Melody Roulette" but...)
$1000 - (EDM) "I Love It (I Don't Care)" by Icona Pop (Charity)
$2000 - (70's Funk) "Brickhouse" by Commodores (Lee...who gets a BONUS PRIZE of two BBQ grills!]
$3000 - (Hip Hop) "In Da Club" by 50 Cent (Lee steals)
$4000 - (Country) "Amazed" by Lonestar (Lee steals; Charity said "Amazed By You")
$5000 - (90's Dance) "Rythym Is a Dancer" by Snap! (neither)
$6000 - (Power Ballad) "It Must Have Been Love" by Roxette (Lee)

CURRENT SCORE: LEE $15,000-$1000 CHARITY

BID-A-NOTE - A clue is read and the contestants bid on how few notes from Randy's piano they can name that tune in.  Bidding ends at one note or when one tells the other to "Name That Tune".  The notes are played and, if they get it right, they get the money.  Get it WRONG and the opponent gets ten notes and a chance to steal.  Whoever has more money at round's end goes to the Golden Medley.
- $10,000: "This Motown group may be tempted to talk about her."  Lee says she can get it in six notes.  Randy plays...and she gets "My Girl" by the Temptations to increase her lead.
- $15,000: "It's not easy being green but, at least, the sun is shining."  Lee goes for three notes this time...and she gets "Rainbow Connection" by Jim Henson as Kermit the Frog.
- $20,000: "The one with the coffee shop."  Charity barges in with TWO notes...and gets the theme from "Friends" ("I'll Be There For You" by the Rembrandts) to make it a closer game!
- $25,000 (FTW): "No meal time is complete without this duo."  Charity shuts it down by asking for ONE NOTE!  Said note is played...and Charity completes the come-from-behind win by getting "Push It" by Salt 'N' Pepa!

FINAL SCORE: LEE $40,000-$46,000 CHARITY

GOLDEN MEDLEY - Charity needs to name seven songs in 30 total seconds.  The clock starts when the song does and stops when Charity presses a button to name it or pass.  Passed songs CAN be returned to.  Each right answer adds $10,000 to her total.  If she gets all seven before the clock hits zero, the round money is augmented to $100,000!  One wrong answer or time runs out...and the game ends.
- #1: "Cold as Ice" by Foreigner (got with :27)
- #2: "Mambo No. 5" by Lou Bega (PASSED with :25)
- #3: "We Are Young" by fun. (got with :21)

Amber

$2000 - "Waiting For Tonight" by Jennifer Lopez (Jenale)
$3000 - "It's My Party" by Leslie Gore (Amber)

CURRENT SCORE: JENALE $18,000-$3000 AMBER

BID-A-NOTE
- $10,000: (missed by both; not aired)
- $15,000: "The Oscars, Golden Globes and Grammys all loved this 2016 Polynesian anthem."  Amber goes for the throat and bids ONE NOTE!  She gets the note...and gets the tune right: "How Far I'll Go" by Auli'i Cravalho from the "Moana" soundtrack!
- $20,000: "In 1997, this left a bad taste in the orchestra's mouth."  Jenale fires back with a ONE NOTE bid of his own!  He hears it...and gets it right with "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve!
- $25,000 (FTW): "In 1992, a baby was the only thing on this girl's mind."  Jenale slams it down bidding ONE NOTE right out of the gate!  Randy has an easy night as he plays the one note...and Jenale WINS with "All That She Wants" by Ace of Base!

[CW-Post: I thought *I* could get that last one in one note...but I thought it was "Papa Don't Preach".]

GOLDEN MEDLEY
- #1: "High Hopes" by Panic! At the Disco (got with :27)
