Balderdash by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  5pm ET/4pm CT on PAX
Host:  Elayne Boosler
Players: Russ Sprinkle vs. Lisa Thompson
Panel: Carlos Alazraqui ("Reno 911!") and comics Cory Kahaney & Andy Kindler

"Christmas vs. the Grasshopper People" (Carlos), "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" (Cory), or "When the Toys Come to Life" (Andy). One of these is a marvelous movie in round 4. Correct: Cory. Lisa with 2415 loses out on Andy. Russ wins it betting on Cory, 6187-915.

Russ goes with Carlos to Barrage for a Bloomingdale's shopping spree (under nine letters) or a week's vacation in Mexico (under one)... or maybe b both! They get six to leave D E R D. Russ goes with the R for... Bloomingdale's. Mexico was right next door under the E, but hey... shopping's fun.

Family Feud by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time:  Check local listings or familyfeud.com
Host:  Richard Karn
Team 1: Avery (Lori, Stephanie, Brandy, Shannon & Jay)
Team 2: Bayack (Carol, Denise, Diana, Cindy & Paul)

We crowned five-timers on Friday's show, so we're starting fresh. And we're starting with this: a public place where you've witnessed couples fighting and making a scene (6). Carol fires with park, number 4. The rest of the Bayacks come up with a restaurant (it's number one), in the mall, at a bar, on the street... but Cindy blanks for the third strike. Can the Averys steal with movie theatre? No. Subway would've done it, as the Bayacks lead, 84-0.

Round 2: a name that rhymes with "Ray" (7). Denise gets Jay for number one (you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay). Other names that rhyme with Ray: Faye, Kay, May... but that's it for them. Who knew that this would be so tough? Averys try Gay. It's right for the 72. Other answers: Bay and Clay. No Trey?

Double round: something that expires (full board). Diana gets number one, milk, which doesn't really expire, so much as it turns into cheese. By the way, that cancels out all food. Driver's licenses expire, but that's all the Bayacks can come up with. Averys try to steal with medicines. Good answer... it's number six! Other answer: credit cards, person/life, and a car registration. Averys lead it, 214-84.

Triple round: a US city known for its great restaurants (4). Shannon goes for top of the board with New York. LA comes in at number three. New Orleans is at number four (thanks to Cafe du Monde)... and Chicago... is number two for the win, 493-84.

Lori and Shannon take their turn at the Fast Money board.

1) How many diapers the average baby goes through every day.
2) A kind of market.
3) Something people keep in their glove compartment.
4) Something teenagers do to rebel.
5) Besides fish, something in a fish tank.

Shannon only gets 82. Lori blanks out on two, so she'll have to get 118 from three. Doesn't happen. 117 points means $585.

Jeopardy! by Chico & Quisla Alexander, GSNN

Host:  Alex Trebek
Champion: Bud Humphrey (editor from Park Ridge, IL); $23,700
Challengers: Barrett Hildreth (software analyst from Portland, OR) and Tom Stenson (law student from Media, PA)

Bud is setting out to prove that his win on Friday was no fluke. He starts with $200 Historic Women. It's pretty much a low-scoring game amongst challengers, as Barrett finds the Daily Double under $600 It Happened in the '70s. With only $200, he bets $1000 on the Pope that ruled for 34 days in 1978. "Who is John XXIII?" Nope. It was John Paul I, leaving him $800 in the red, but he makes it back up on a clue about the Happy Meal. The last clue remains hidden, as Bud still holds the lead, $5200 to Tom's $4200. Barrett has $1400 and will start Double Jeopardy!...

... with $400 Authors. Barrett strikes again with the Daily Double under $1200 Antonyms. With $3000 to Tom's $6600 and Bud's $5200, he bets the level. The clue: hairdressing process that's an antonym of ephemeral. "What is angelic?" Not it. Ephemeral is temporary, so we were looking for "permanent", as Barrett is down to $1800. Tom regains the lead with $10,600 as he finds the second Daily Double under $2000 Bulgaria. He fronts $5000 on the empire referred to in Ivan Vazov's "Under the Yoke". "What is the Ottoman Empire?" Right for $15,600! Everyone avoids the dreaded spelling category as Tom ends regulation in the lead, $15,600 to Bud's $11,600. Barrett is still in it with $3800.

Final Jeopardy! in "World Monarchs": on the throne since 1946, the king of this Asian country is the world's longest-serving living monarch. Correct response: "What is Thailand?"

Barrett misses it, but loses nothing. Bud gets it right to move into contention with $14,100. Tom comes up with... Cambodia. Any wager above $1500 and it's over for him... $7700. Tom'll finish in second while Bud wins it with a two-day total of $37,800.

The Price is Right by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Air time: 11am ET/10am CT on CBS (times vary by market)
Host:  Bob Barker
In case you missed the first playing of Pocket Change last week, we have another round to show you today courtesy of Morgan Giles. After she won a Bombay chest in round two, she has a chance to play the newest TPIR game for a Ford Focus. Slight variation from gameplay with the giveaway of the first number, but when you're talking of pricing games in their infancy, that's to be expected. Numbers in play: 4-0-1-5-8-3. Car price: $18,540. With the two mistakes that Morgan made, she can buy the car for 75 cents. We start her off with 25 cents... then she gets a zero... then the 50 she needs. In total, she got 90 cents in pocket change.

Her opponent in the Showcase would be Jerome love. After three rounds of tacking on an extra dollar for posterity, he opts not to tack it onto his bid on a luggage set. Good move, as the $1500 bid gives him $500 in bonus cash as well as a chance to win a gas stove and a bar set. The game is Barker's Bargain Bar. He goes for the bar set, marked at $1399... $1000 off of the actual retail price. The stove was $500 off, so he wins.

First Showcase features Shaine (who celebrates her 34th birthday today!) trying to move all of her stuff - a gas range, a TV, a floor clock, and a Chevrolet Colorado. Morgan, perfectly content with the car she already won, passes it to Jerome, who tags the pack at $17,900. Morgan is left with... furniture! She bids on a bedroom with dressing & mattress, four ski parkas, and a snowmobile. Her bid: $18,000. Actual price: $16,435. Actual price of Jerome's package: $25,314! He's your big winner with $31,686 today.

Other winners:
Brittney Smith: spa; Ford Taurus winning Any Number
Margaret Hauser: treadmill; trip to Cancun winning Flip Flop
John DeBoer: diamond ring and $500 bonus; muffin maker, humidifier, percolator, juicer, and $100 playing Punch-a-Bunch
John Mahon: washer/dryer

Back to Sean who misses...over to Valerie. She solves FRESH FOUR CHEESE RAVIOLI for $1,850. She is very excited..and she will be more excited when she finds she is going to Rome, Italy. It's a trip to Aleph Hotel in Rome, Italy with airfare provided by Lufthansa and $1,000. It's worth $8,664. And if you have MM11997 you are off to Italy as well. Her total for this round is $11,514.

The Jackpot round is sponsored by Centrum Silver Vitamins. The prize added to the wheel--a trip to the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida worth $5,500. The category is EVENT. Valerie starts. She has had some really rough luck on the wheel. Over to Sean. Sean hits Bankrupt...back to Valerie. She hits the mystery wedge...will she risk $6,650? She does...and hits the car! And she solves MARCHING TO THE BEAT OF A DIFFERENT DRUMMER for $4,650! That round was worth $17,450! And she has a total of $28,964 in cash and prizes! What a round and what guts!

The $3,000 tossup is next...PROPER NAME. Kim finally is on the board with TOMMY BAHAMA. She starts this round which is BEST SELLER...but it's FINAL SPIN TIME. $1,300 a letter tonight. Kim starts and she solves UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN for $5,200. She leaves with $8,200--not bad for all the luck she had on the wheel. Sean leaves with $6,050. But Valerie is our huge winner--with a Kia Rio, a trip to Rome and cash worth $28,964!

Can Valerie add a 2nd car to her stash? Could it be a Mercedes C240 or an Infiniti FX35? Or that $100,000 bonus? Let's find out... Her category tonight is...PHRASE. With the normal 6 we have and her choices of HCPI:

C _ _ _ I N _
_ I T H _ _ S

She wasn't COOKING WITH GAS...and she couldn't look. And she lost the big one...$100,000! This is the 2nd time that the $100,000 was lost this season! But don't feel too sorry for her. She leaves with $28,964 in cash and prizes---and a car! Great job, Valerie!

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire by Chico Alexander, GSNN

Host: Meredith Vieira

Eric Porter is a fun-loving law student, but he's still, at 22, afraid of monsters under the bed. "I'm going to law school to see if I had a case." Last time, he made it up to $8000, but he only has the 50/50 remaining. He'll use it at $16,000 to answer this: in 2003, the first cow in the US to test positive for "mad cow" disease was found in what state? the lifeline leaves Washington (his initial inkling) and Wyoming. He goes with Washington... and his instinct was right!

Now to the $25,000 milestone. What is the literary term for a novel that follows the development of a youthful main character? a) Fabliau b) Roman a clef c) Bildungsroman d) Mock-heroic. Eric eliminates A and B, thinking it's D. But he walks with the $16,000. But was he right? Nope. C.

Next in the hot seat is Kathleen Padulchick of the City, who was a ski bunny right out of college (as well as a janitor at said ski lodge). Now a working stiff, she cleans up the $1000 easy. Then $2000. Then a stall at $4000, when she asks the audience what "scratch" is slang for. Eighty-five percent of the studio go with money. Sixty-nine of AOL say the same. So does Kathleen. So flows the scratch.

She needs the 50/50 on $8000: Commonly used to state the time, the term "o'clock" is short for what phrase? The lifeline leaves "of the clock" and "over the clock". Kathleen goes with "of the clock"... and she gets to see the $16,000: In the Broadway musical "Sweeney Todd", the vengeful title character works as a what? Quoth Phone-a-Friend Derek: "I'm not a big Broadway fan. Blacksmith sounds possible." She was thinking chimney sweep. Too many answers going around at once. Time to walk, I think. Kathleen indeed takes the $8000. Meredith knew the answer: barber.

Brooklyn sends Jackie Penn to the hot seat (and her 11-year-old son to the audience). Both get the $1000 milestone. but Jackie will need little Raymond and the rest of the audience to identify a nickname for the reticent Calvin Coolidge. Both audiences agree on Silent Cal. So does Jackie for $2000. She needs the 50/50 at $4000 to determine where one would find a whammy bar, having to choose between electric guitar and accordion. Jackie goes for electric guitar... and she's going to Disney World with $4000. We'll see if she can't make some spending money to spend there next time.
