Today in Andrew's funhouse, a group of kids will have the ultimate competition... Their dads! The challenge... Claw grapplers.

Tonight, the teams will build giant claw grabbers. Just like the crane game at the arcade, your claws must move side to side, front to back, and up and down. And they must be big enough to grab onto basketballs for the later game of b-ball. You'll be making your claws out of... 25-FOOT SAILBOATS!

First up, we have to destroy them, but how?

- BULLDOZER CABLE SHRED. One end of cable is wrapped around the board. The other is attached to a bulldozer. The result.. Ribbons.
- C4. Times three.
- DESTROYERS: horrific destruction with a personal touch.

The dads wanna blow it up real good. The kids play the bulldozer.

All together now... Three... two... one... DESTROY!

Now to build the vehicles. Andrew has thrown in some extra odds and ends, and each team has their own set of Builders to construct what may be the $3000 ultimate claw-grabber roundballers. Winners get the cash, losers get trashed. Good luck to both teams... Three... two... one... BUILD!

The plan for the kids: a 30-foot long arm with a claw attached. One person will steer the claw, while the other will operate the vehicle. There will be a barrel for counterbalance. Vance is a project manager for a construction company... and he takes the lead in his design. The dads will make only a 20-foot long-arm with two cables, one to control the claw's up-and-down motion, and one to control the claw's open-and-shut motion. They will also operate it on a hand crank for maneuverability and use their own weight as counterbalance.

Setback Challenge: Sink or Swim

Each team has an armada of 15 small boats. Each will have to fling bricks onto their opponent's fleet, and the first team to sink all 15 ships wins.

It is neck and neck all the way, but the dads edge out the kids to win the setback. The options...

- Gravel Dump (one half ton today)
- Shipwrecked (the team AND the builders go into the lake on a boat with no paddles, and have to get back to shore)

The Dads... GRAVEL DUMP! 3... 2... 1... Dump it! It started easy... but then it got hard, as the gravel went off the base and into the tires. Sorry. The kids... decide to use their gravel as counterbalance, turning poison into medicine. And if that wasn't bad enough, the dads can't get their crane to work.

And... TIME! Let's see what you have.

KIDS: The Bumble Bee. they have a longer arm...
DADS: The OG Express: ... but they have a more sophisticated system. And a toilet.

Now to play Claw-Grabber Basketball. Grab a ball and place it in your trailer. Then race to the other side and start shooting your basketball. First team to make three free-throws wins $3000.

That's three free-throws, three large. Good luck to both teams... GO!

The dads are the first to the court, but Vance can't shoot. It was just him and his kid going head to head, as Vance scores first. The dads try for ball #2... but their crank is struggling. They get it back. Lancaster gets the second shot in one shot. Tie ball game. Whoever gets the final shot wins it all...

... and the dads are on their way to make their final shot. And... THE DADS WIN, 3-2! Now the OGs have $3000 and one big decision. Do they want to blow up their kids' hopes and dreams with C4... or plain explosives? They decide... that they want the tank, because the C4... been there done that.

Next week... a battle of the bands of a different stage. Until then... three... two... one.... DESTROY!
